Exam 4 Part 1


"Pablo Picasso's Guernica is a work of art and not propaganda"

Propaganda is when rumors are spread widely to help or harm a person, group, or movement. This painting does not show anything about a war or how things are in certain places. It doesn't show me that its trying to lie about something. Like when the Russians posters would show that the Germans were bad people.

In the painting it shows that people are different in many ways, and that no one is the same.

The bombing was because of Hitler and that he wanted to make a statement. This is important because it shows that people will do what they want to get what they want no matter what.
